My Life Saver

Dr. Bird has been my doctor for a long time and has always taken very good care of me and my family. Dr. Bird always takes time to listen and explain things in a way I can understand. You will not find a kinder more caring doctor than Dr. Bird. Recently I was having problems with a hernia. I was referred to a surgeon that had done a hernia surgery on me before. CT scan was ordered. Results showed a hernia and a bit more. Surgeon refused to help me because of my size. Dr. Bird saw something on CT scan, ordered an MRI which showed a more serious issue and referred me to another surgeon. Not only referred but kept insisting for me to be seen as soon as possible. Bottom line Dr. Bird took the time and effort to look closely at test results and made sure I was connected with the right surgeon. I had gallbladder cancer and Dr. Bird pushed for me to get the care I needed as soon as possible. The surgeon told me that they never catch gallbladder cancer this soon and that Dr. Bird literally saved my life with his persistence of me being seen and taken care of quickly. He is my hero!!
