My husband's Death

I had an appt. with Dr. Shirley shortly after my husband died and I was still in a pretty fragile state. She could see this when I went in, as I began to cry, at one point. She sat with me and we talked for a very long time, and it really helped me. The grief one goes through when losing a husband of over 40 years, is very hard. I mentioned to her that I was taking up too much of her time and what about her other patients and appts. She told me not to worry about that and sat with me until I was ready to leave. This meant so much to me, that she took the time to help me; I was very grateful and have always remembered this about her. Not all doctors would be this kind, or take the time~~~
