My hospital stay

My doctor Dr. Michael Gilels, was new to me. In January, suddenly I ended up in the hospital in terrible pain and with an undiagnosed medial issue. Even though i was a new patient, Dr. Gilels showed up to check up on me, follow through with all my tests, even requested a few others. I felt so good to have a doctor who cared take over and put the pieces together rather than rely on doctors that didn't know me and I was just another sick person. They diagnosed me with all sorts of illnesses that made no sense at all.
Since then Dr. Gilels has followed up with me regarding blood results and every time I've needed his help I called and get an answer almost immediately. I even called one morning at 7:30 AM before hours thinking I'd leave a voicemail but to my surprise he answered the phone.
I will be sorry to see him retire this year after I have found such a great doctor. Hopefully the new doctor, his replacement will show as much care and concern for me and the other patients under his care.
