My Hero

I was having breathing problems. My heart rate was low, etc. Dr. Battiste sent me to a cardiologist. They gave me many tests, but they were not sure exactly what it was even though on one of the test, they said I was textbook third degree block. I went months and they did nothing. I felt like I was dying literally. I made an appointment with Dr. Battiste because I did not know where else to turn to and explain to her everything that was going on and how they weren’t doing anything. The hospital where the cardiologist was and told them they needed to do something. The very next day they got me in again for another test and I had four doctors consulting in the next room, and that day I had a pacemaker put in. It was third degree block, and It’s been seven years since that day. I’m a new person I have never in my life felt this good. This is only one of many stories I have for Dr. Battiste. She is always my greatest advocate.
