A few years ago, David Gehring "inherited" me as a patient when he took over the Alexandria, Virginia practice of Joel Temme...who had been my personal physician for many years.

David proved to be a great listener and kept me focused on what I needed to do to monitor and insure my good health. A personal concern was my family history of prostate issues having witnessed by father suffer through metastasized prostate cancer and dying at an early age. With David's help and engaged support, we were able to get my care focused on more aggressively testing and treating my condition. While normal monitoring and testing was not conclusive, biopsy and then surgery ultimately confirmed the presence of cancer and due to the early detection, I am now cancer-free.

It all took some pushing but David was instrumental in getting me to where I needed to be...for which I am very grateful.
