The relationship between a Doctor and their patient is extremely unique, I don't think there is any one interaction that is more important than the long term, on going relationship . Just knowing the I can reach out to Dr Chang any time of any day and be seen quickly is what's critical. I have friends who experience medical emergencies and have to visit an urgent care clinic or the Emergency Room because they cant be seen by their doctor for a week or longer. That has to create additional stress and anxiety in addition to what they are facing. Secure in the knowledge that I have an excellent physician available at anytime is very special.
