My experience with Dr. Aya Rifai.

I have thought about writing this story for several days. The difficulty I’m facing is having the words to truly describe my relationship with Dr. Aya Rifai. Our story began shortly after she started her practice; 13 years later our story continues. When I was hospitalized for a month with severe Covid pneumonia in both lungs, Dr. Rifai followed my progress, checking the lab results each day even though I was being treated by a Covid team of doctors at the hospital. After being discharged from the hospital, Dr. Rifai has closely followed my progress. Little seems to be known about “long Covid”. There is no question that Dr. Rifai keeps up with all the research being done. More than that, she is so kind-hearted and caring. I would be lost without her.
