My Excellent, Caring Doctor
Dr. Weisbrot has been a part of my life since about 1982, around 42 years. That's a very long time to have a doctor who has many times handled health situations for me in a way for which I have been very thankful. He was the one who started ordering tests for me when I was having abdominal pain about 12 years ago which ultimately led to my seeing my gynecologist, having a lot more testing and finding that I had Stage 1 endometrial cancer which was early enough that I needed no further treatment after a hysterectomy. What I'm saying is that without his early push to detect what my problem was, things could have been much worse. I also think of his doing a sigmoidoscopy in his office, I can't remember exactly when, leading to my first colonoscopy of many through the years due to my always have polyps. I certainly don't enjoy colonoscopies but believe they may have saved my life from the possibility of developing colon cancer. Most of all, I am thankful for him because I have felt that he has been there when I needed him, that he is an excellent doctor and that he cares.
