My doctor is a friend

There is not just a single moment or event that stands out in my mind that make my doctor my friend. It is more about he is always there and always willing to help. He listens to me and tries to help me. He works with me to maintain or improve my quality of life. He does all the things like a friend would. In a time when we mostly have acquaintances he is a friend.
