My Doctor Cares

Before becoming a patient of Dr. Khulusi, we met and spoke at length about a number of topics; it was a get to know each other session. When I left his office I felt that he cared about me and that I could trust his advice. Trust in your doctor and his advice is critical. Because of the trust I have in him I agreed to do whatever he advised, which does not come naturally to me. I was an over weight 67 year old black males with uncontrolled hypertension and diabetes, when we began. I'm still black and a male but both the hypertension and diabetes are under control and much of the body fat has been replaced with muscle. Thanks to Dr. Khulusi my much improved physical condition has improved my state of mind and extended my career as a system analyst. Dr. Khulusi didn't tell me that I had to do anything; our interaction made want to do it, which is no minor thing. The way he identified and treated the cause of my hypertension not just treating the symptom, caused me to be all in. To me, Dr. Khulusi enjoys his work and cares about his patients. Finding joy in his work cause him to be analytical, addressing details that will improve the quality of the life of each patient. His caring, warm nature caused me to feel that he is my partner and I don't want to let my partner down. Best doctor ever.
