Moved but still connected

In October, 2023 my husband and I had sold our house in Park City and moved to a house we built in Mesquite, NV. We were not sure how we were going to deal with our MDVIP doctor in Park City, but we were unwilling to just leave. As it turned out, the day after we moved into the house, I noticed my husband's leg looked swollen. I took a photo of it with my cellphone and sent it to Dr. Spenser Reed. He called right back and said he wanted my husband to go directly to the emergency room at our local small hospital to get an ultra sound. He wanted to make sure there was no blood clot. We did what he said and after the ultra sound was taken and we were assured there was no blood clot, the ER doctor gave my husband antibiotics to take. Early the next morning, we had a call from our doctor's office to check on what happened (as well as a reminder to take a probiotic), and to make sure that my husband was doing better. Dr. Reed also checked in with the ER doctor in Mesquite. My husband did better and we were relieved that even from a distance, we had a doctor we could count on.
