More than a Doctor

Tom Griffin is much more than "just" my doctor. Each visit includes a little chit-chat about life - a genuine interest in how my family is doing, and how I'm doing. In the Bible a person named Barnabas was nick-named the "son of encouragement". I believe that Tom is his modern-day equivalent. He is an encouragement to me and to each patient he interacts with. He isn't a cheer-leader with a lot a fluffy rah-rah. Rather, he comes along side in a quiet and measured way to make you feel comfortable, listen, and support you. His medical knowledge is current - he's the epitome of a life-long learner. The medical care he dispenses is top-notch. I find it refreshing and amazing to see a man who could very easily be retired choose to stay in practice because he knows it is his calling and passion. You've just got to love this guy!
