A modern throwback - The Doctor who treats the whole person

Trust is the main component of any relationship between a provider and a client/customer/patient. This was so before 2020, and even more so now, with the exposure of the Medical/Pharmaceutical Industrial Complex as a business model instead of a place to go for true health CARE. My personal trust in Dr. Emhof, which he had already earned before the advent of C-19 for helping me to achieve some health goals, has only been validated with his personal and thoughtful care through a couple of brief illnesses. I had previously "fired" two providers: one for being dismissive about a health track i suggested; the other for not removing a false entry in my record and trying to pressure me into taking medication i did not want to take. His practice is the closest thing to perfect i have ever experienced because i know that he and his staff are responsive, truly concerned about my health (not my pocketbook) and dedicated to taking me beyond FEELING better to actually BEING better! It is my sincere prayer that he is able to continue his work for years to come, not only for me and others for whom he watches over, but hopefully, to pass on the importance of seeing each patient as if they were valued and loved family members and giving them the best possible care.
