Following minor stroke in April 2000, I searched for a new primary doctor. Upon review of most doctors in my area, I found intriguing the spiel associated with Dr. Joseph Morandi. It placed emphasis on a close relationship with patients, and a broad view of treatment options when problems arose.

Though the write up initially brought me to his office, his personality and medical attention has kept me coming back for 18 more years. Its like Mary Wells, My Guy song of 1960s:

I guess only old folks remember this song, but patients new and old appreciate the attention and treatment we get from Dr. Morandi. As an academic (retired University Dean) what I like most about Dr. Morandi is his diligence and honesty. He doesnt pretend to know everything nor keep information from patients. Instead he provides a background of possibilities and a range of treatments. When more information is needed he recommends visits to specialists who seem also to be tops in their fields and know professionally, and perhaps personally Dr. Morandi. This close relationships between the specialists and Dr. Morandi leads me to believe I am getting the best coordinated care.
