Making a differance.
Just recently I had a routine out patient procedure with a specialist in a surgical center which ended up with a ride in an ambulance and admittance to the ER. Needless to say this was not the way I had this planned. As they loaded me into the ambulance, I was not sure of what had happened, and could tell my wife was very concerned. I told her to contract Doctor Solis who has been my doctor for the last decade. She called and left a message and headed to the hospital. Having never been in an ambulance or emergency room before the experience was overwhelming. A while later as I laid in the ER, Doctor Solis walked in. He had already found out what had happened and set off to get some information on the tests and x-rays that had been done. Within a few minutes he returned and explained the situation and the test results. His timely explanations and assurance helped reduce the worry and concern of both my wife and myself. The following days as I was admitted to the hospital and then released, Doctor Solis continued to be “my doctor” as he called to check on me and answer my questions.
Thank you, Doctor Solis, for your help not only for the last few weeks, but advice, support and candor over the years.
