Making a bad situation better.

Several springs ago I was in the Orlando area for Tigers spring training when I became violently ill from apparent food poisoning. I was losing body fluids from every port. After the 1st terrible nite, I sent my family back to Michigan as planned and decided to gut it out in an airport Marriott. A day and a half later ( Sunday eve ) I was still no better when I decided to call my MDVIP physician, Dr Jeffery Meyers, to ask for his advice. After hearing my symptoms Dr Meyers advised me to head to the nearest Emergency room. Upon arriving at the hospital, Dr Meyers had already contacted the local Emergency room Physician and my treatment was moved ahead quickly. He called me later that nite to check on my condition. Flew home the next morning. Eternally grateful for his caring response to my situation.
