Lucky me for finding MDVIP and Dr. Guy Nee
Almost 10 years ago, I moved to where I now live in Mercer County, NJ. I was looking for a new primary care doctor. One of my neighbors told me about her MDVIP doctor. Her doctor was no longer accepting new patients but Dr. Guy Nee’s office was. It was also very close to my home.
Wow -- was I lucky to find Dr. Nee and his staff! Dr. Yamane is also part of the practice; I had to see him once when Dr. Nee was on vacation. They are both wonderful and caring people, and so is the entire office staff.
I was already an overweight, type 2 diabetic with gastro issues and suffering from anxiety. Even though I was in my early 50’s at the time, I was not taking good care of myself. I didn’t understand my diabetes and what I needed to do.
In the following years, I had many serious health issues, including also becoming a type 1 diabetic since my pancreas stopped working. I had to navigate wearing devices 24 hours a day, such as a Dexcom monitor and an insulin pump while still dealing with severe insulin resistance as a type 2 diabetic. Dr. Nee suggested a wonderful Endocrinology practice specializing in Diabetes from a different hospital system because I was not getting anywhere with my current Endocrinology practice. Dr. Nee has also supported me with many other medical issues during that time.
I could give many examples of Dr. Nee and his staff helping me in many different ways. They are just AWESOME!
With Dr. Nee’s caring medical support, guidance and encouragement over the years, I can honestly say that I am a happy and healthy 62-year-old, even with my serious medical conditions. Moreover, I have been able to accomplish many of my bucket list trips all over the world!
Dr. Nee literally SAVED MY LIFE! What more can I say?
