The Loving Care of Dr. Debra Fast

On Nov.10.2021 we got the devastating news my husband Paul had pancreatic cancer. As Dr. Fast shared the news with tears in her eyes and holding Paul's hands. I collapsed into tears. The first report said to call in hospice probably only had weeks. But with her help she got us into a great Oncologist. Paul lived another 18 months and lived to see 2 more grandbabies. We could never have walked this Cancer journey, without Dr. Fast. Her daily contact with us, even on Christmas Eve when the first effects of chemo came on so hard. She talked me through it, calmed me down, so I could take care of Paul, she was always there for us. Even as I come up on his first year anniversary of his death. She always has a hug, her compassion, care and love for Paul, her patients and I, is such a blessing. Having a doctor who not only cares about your physical needs, but your emotional and spiritual needs is a gift. I am so grateful for the MVD plan and the timing that made her more available as we battled this horrid disease. I thank God for Dr. Fast and the loving care she shows us all.
