Long and comfortable relationship

I have been a patient of Dr Leichtling since the 1990s. He is a great doctor and a great listener. His approach is that you and he work together to get you healthy or to diagnose your issue. He may quickly come to a tentative diagnosis, BUT he continues to question and validate your symptoms and his diagnosis. If he’s not sure of something, he says something like : ‘well it could be x or could be y, so let’s run test A to determine which’. If you’re concerned about an issue he gives you a likely scenario and reassures you if what it is is not a major issue. When necessary he readily refers you to the relevant specialist.
He’s straightforward and friendly and is truly easy to discuss anything about which you may have questions.
I consider myself very lucky to have been his patient for these last decades.
