Life Saver

I had just changed my health care provider, deciding I would give MDVIP a try. Dr. Bowers gave me a very comprehensive and thorough physical with two follow up consultations educating me about my personal health and plan for moving forward with a healthy life. At 66 years of age, I had not suffered from any ailments, had no chronic conditions of concern and was content.

A few days later after my blood tests came back; I was driving on my way to vacation in Connecticut. I received a call from Dr. Bowers. She said she did not like that my liver enzymes were elevated and had made an appointment for me to have an endoscopy in three days. She suggested I turn my car around. Both my husband and I were shocked. We did as she said.

Thanks to Dr. Bowers I averted a very painful death. The results of the endoscopy showed a very rare form of cancer. Because of her vigilance on my behalf
I was able to have successful surgery and adjuvant care and am now cancer free. As far as my vacation goes, now I can look forward to many more!
