At last my cholesterol inder control

I remember the moment when my first lipid results came in after Dr Heckert prescribed a statin for the first time. We were both delighted and relieved! This transformative moment came after many years of my anxiety about high cholesterol and the refusal of other doctors to treat it. (They believed that my high levels of “good” balanced out the unhealthy levels of “bad”).
After Dr Heckert received my first more thorough results from Cleveland Clinic he prescribed my first tiny dose of statin. Which led to our shared moment of happy relief as we read the new low levels.
