The Last 25 Years
Dr. James Jacobs has been my primary care doctor for over 25 years. I was one of his first patients when he began as a doctor in in Raleigh and I followed him to Cary and four different locations. When he became a MDVIP doctor I had reservations at first but this relationship has worked well.
Dr Jacobs is a person who loves his family as I love mine and also a devoted Christian as I try to be. This is two great characteristics in any man.
Over the years he has become a good friend and not just my doctor. He has helped me with different medical situations but we have also shared various family situations and smiled over some situations and shed tears over others. When I see him it is as if I am the only patient he has because he always has time to completely discuss any issues.
He amazes me with his knowledge and through the years has remained updated on new medical information which as we know is ever changing. He always includes me in making various decisions concerning my health and well being.
When I have had to contact him outside of office hours he has answered the phone and came to my rescue in prescribing a course of action to address my problem. The most recent being on a Sunday morning when I awoke during the night with a uti. I was able io get started on medicine and felt much better in a few days.
This past year has been very difficult as I have had two back surgeries but on the last visit with Dr. Jacobs before I had surgery he held my hand and prayed a beautiful prayer for me.
I am 78 years old and seen many doctors in my life but Dr. Jacobs stands out as the most outstanding as he has always treated me as if I was a member of his family. I have a great feeling of security knowing that Dr. Jacobs is only a phone call away.
