Knowing what to ask!

So 2 1/2 years ago my husband was diagnosed with ALS. One day I was talking to Dr. Sundwall on the phone asking him some questions about what the future holds for my husband and I. At the beginning of that conversation, Dr. Sundwall ask me, "So how are YOU doing?" and I quickly replied with, "Fine". Then he asked, "Are you REALLY?" I started crying because not all doctors would go as far to REALLY check to see how the spouse of his patient is REALLY doing:)
