Just the reassuring sound of his voice is my go-to medicine. Dr. Levey is a blessing!

It was a lovely day that turned into chaos at 5a.m.early the next morning when I called & awakened Dr. Levey complaining & scared of my extremely high (well over 200) blood pressure. He had me recite all my meds & reassured me that I could avoid paramedics & hospital by taking the Amlodapine which had been given to me if ever my BP was out of control. His calm & reassuring demeanor requested that I call back in 3 hours (8a.m.) & return to bed, try to relax & not to take my BP until I call him back to report my findings. It had diminished considerably by then. The point of this story is to let you know how intuitive he is..he knows just how to react to each patient most effectively. He’s warm, caring, easily understood in his explanations ..& most important…I not only feel respected…but heard…because he takes the time to really listen before suggesting a thoughtful recommendation. He’s truly one of a kind & has a distinguished reputation among his fellow physicians. I feel especially blessed to have him as my outstanding primary doctor & I give him an exceptionally perfect rating.
