It is with great pleasure that I have this opportunity to share some our experiences in dealing with Dr. Berger. Since first joining his service about 8 years ago it has been a great relief to both of us to know that we have someone caring and looking out for our well being. Aside from his incredible knowledge he possesses outstanding bedside manner and is always willing to listen in a caring way no matter what the issue is. As for my wife Barbara, coming from a family that has many tragedies due to losing family members from various types of cancer, Dr. Berger is extra sensitive in making sure that each time she goes for a test, the report is analyzed as quickly as possible and the results are immediately discussed with Barbara by Dr. Berger himself, or if everything comes out fine, one of Dr. Bergers exceptional staff members will review the results with us.

There has never been one instance that we've gone to Dr. Bergers office that we werent treated as if we were really special. The office itself is always kept impeccable with a chance to have a soft drink and a little snack which is always available. For me personally, Dr. Berger truly has changed my life both mentally and physically. When I first met Dr. Berger I was grossly obese. I was actually desperate and with Dr. Bergers encouragement and his knowledge of the gastric bypass surgery, based on the circumstances it was an outstanding suggestion by him to bring up. I wound up losing well over 100 pounds in a short period of time and its been about 7 years, and even though I have gained back about 10 of the weight that I lost, my life is changed dramatically. I dont mind looking at myself in the mirror now, I dont feel that other people are staring at me as I was wide as I was tall, and although I was pretty self-confidant for other reasons, my new physical body has even made me more confidant. But the best thing that happened from this experience was that I was able to teach my 4 grandchildren to ride their first 2 wheelers. It just got better from that point on when recently I played in a Legends of Baseball game with former big league athletes. I and one other fellow were the only non ex-major leaguers on the field. What a thrill it was when the game was over when a 10 year old little boy came over to me and asked me for my autograph thinking I was a former major leaguer. In the Yankee uniform that was provided for me, I sure did look the part.

We are grateful to know that we have Dr. Berger in our corner and feel fully confident that if in the event he cant handle the situation himself he will get us an appointment with another top physician in the field. He truly is our insurance policy and we wish him continued success and good health in the years to come.

Sincerely,

Top
