Internal Medicine at its Best

Stacey Shinder MD is my MDVIP physician and has been for quite a while. Recently, I had a scary and sudden downturn in my health that required hospitalization. Dr Shinder showed two things: her excellence as a diagnostician, and her ability to take charge and take the lead of managing my health care when many specialists had to be coordinated in finding a diagnosis. She was present every day during my hospitalization, encouraging me and explaining to me the ongoing management of my care, in which she took the lead. At the same time she graciously shared with my family her thinking and explained my condition carefully to them. My recovery has been strong and I attribute it to her care.
