I'm a Believer & Disciple....

As a newer MDVIP member, I was unsure of what to expect... Unlike the 'big-box' medical providers, it is refreshing for a change that my doctor actually takes the time to listen to what I have to say, asks thought-provoking questions to help better understand my health/wellness, and provides excellent care, follow-up, and referrals (if/when needed). My doctor speaks to me as a partner in terms that I can easily understand, accommodates my personal medical beliefs and philosophies, does not always resort to 'big pharma' solutions as a first course of treatment (when applicable), and is willing to listen and/or perform further research if/when I share some information that may be cutting-edge and/or unfamiliar to them.

As a physically active retiree, my doctor offers ideas about how to maintain and/or sustain my health & performance (i.e. competitive ice hockey (league & Senior Olympian) / rowing / dressage, etc.), and has yet to tell me that I'm 'too old for that'. ;-)

The doctor-patient relationship/experience (+ awesome staff) has completely exceeded my expectations. I am now a believer that true doctor/patient engagement is not a 'thing of the past' anymore, and I act as disciple in telling my friends/family that I proudly will not be going back to 'big box' medical providers for my primary healthcare... ever again.
