I want her to be my doctor!

My husband has been an MDVIP member for a number of years and when his doctor, with whom he had a long-time relationship, retired, he wanted me to go with him as an extra set of ears when he met his new doctor. After our first visit, I said, “I want her to be my doctor.” Changing doctors can be a traumatic experience, particularly for older adults, but I observed during subsequent visits that Dr. Burgert and her staff are truly caring and responsive to a patient’s needs and concerns, which motivated me to also enroll as her patient.
