I was having stomach pains all day. I went to the emergency room and they diagnosed cecal volvulus, a twisting of the colon. I had to have a surgeon perform a partial colectomy. It was 5AM and there was Dr Felice Levine, in the hospital, calling the surgeon that she wanted to perform the surgery. I thought that was pretty amazing!
