I have known Dr. Walend since before she was married and working at Red Mountain Medical Clinic in Ahwatukee. I have been through the engagement, marriage, motherhood, the starting of her own practice, and the move to MDVIP. I consider Dr. Walend an excellent physician from the old school philosophy of practicing medicine. A doctor is in practice because they enjoy and love medicine. I am luck to have found Dr. Walend early in my life and have had great medical care eventhough the American healthcare system is badly broken.
