I am pleased to write this letter about my fine physician, Dr. Timothy Woods. I am able to write this letter because of my fine physician and his attention and dedication to my health and the details pertaining to my health.

On December 16, 2012, I suffered a stroke. I spent three days in the hospital and seventeen days in a rehabilitation facility. After being released from Magee Rehab, I visited Dr. Woods for a check-up. He insisted that I visit my other doctors, including my cardiologist, to get checked out. He also insisted that I get a stress test, wish I did. My cardiologist did not like what he saw on the stress test, so he ordered a catharization test. The test showed that two of my main arteries were 90 clogged. It was decided that I needed a bypass on one artery and an angioplasty on the other artery. Obviously, I had both procedures successfully completed, just in time.

I had neither experienced any pain nor shortness of breath, prior to the two examinations. I truly believe, had Dr. Woods not ordered the examinations with my cardiologist, I would not be able to write this letter of appreciation for him. From the moment I became his patient, he has coordinated my healthcare with my other doctors. The results have been a drastic reduction in my cholesterol and diabetic numbers. I feel my overall health has been improved under Dr. Woods care. In fact, my wife has, also, decided to become his patient.
