The Hug

I'd called about an unusual spot on my left breast. It started as a red exterior bump and was now a ugly purple and not getting smaller. You took a
look and said I'd need a biopsy and you would make the arrangements. As you started out the door I commented that I was afraid it was inflammatory
breast cancer and burst into tears. You stopped midstep, turned and grabbed me in your arms in a hug. That moment of personal comfort meant so
much to me. My Dr. cared ! In the end, the biopsy came back negative and all was well. But gesture at that moment secured your place as my doctor.
Thank you for all your caring moments
