How do we begin to tell the story of our great enthusiasm towards you, Dr. S our medical idol & prevention engineer?
In the beginning upon opening your medical office in 1990 I had the good fortune or fate to meet you on my Welcome Wagon visit; it again, fate, knocking on your door. Because of your warmth, professional optimism & activism our bonds were sealed.
Thanks for your boundless efforts to extend Len's life and keeping us together through the near death experiences, ability to provide prudent discussions & options beyond all expectations.
Your more than 2000 patients flocked to your practice, put you on overload & you never failed to deliver high quality service. Too, you were visiting patients at some nursing-rehab center & came across the last name of Ave & although the name belonged to your then patient Don Ave you visited his aging mother & made a deep & lasting impression upon her & many happy people.
The very same proactive & praiseworthy services prevail today under the MDVIP umbrella, hopefully, allowing you more private time. MDVIP was a step in the right direction. May God provide you, your staff & all your loved ones with optimal life choices & LOVE for many years to come, Fran & Lenny

A thumb nail sketch of just a very few acts of kindness:
1990...upon Len's post surgical 5 way bi-pass & Len unknown to you...you visited him
at home..never to be forgotten
The too many urgent calls from our holiday emergencies you immediately took action & came to Len's rescue. Remember when Len went into atrial Fibrilation in the Seattle area? You took immediate action & conferred with the medical staff to stabilize Len & you kept in touch during our driving journey back home & immediate office check-up
You are more equipped than the Cardiologist
2003: Len's gall-bladder w/gangrene & undaunted care
2004: Len's cerebral hemorrhage & your command performance to patient & family
All of Len's medical infirmities, falls, stents, defibrillator event leading up to his fractured right hip in August 2013 .... you arrived almost immediately to Len's
ER bedside & provided the best possible urgent care & undivided attention
We could go on & on...how lucky can we be...it's impossible to count the ways!!
