In honor of Elana N Kripke

My story is about how Dr. Kripke saved my husband’s life. He was showing signs of severe Lyme disease and he just wasn’t responding to the medication. When he spiked a fever of almost 105, Dr. Kripke told me to take him to the ER ASAP. She would alert them and tell them what she suspected. She was right. He had babaseosis, a rare tick disease, at least at the time. My husband spent 5 days in the hospital and another month or more getting back to normal. Had we not gotten him to the hospital, he could have died. Thank you for saving my husband's life!
