Hometown Doctor

I've known Dr. Shannon Mize for 40 years. He is, in my opinion, the most respected Doctor in Forsyth County , Ga with a population of 260,000. When I first met Shannon the population of the county was less than 30,000 and he was training with the Mashburn brothers who were the top doctors of the county. Shannon was my mother's doctor and became a good friend to her after my father died. When my mother was coming to the end of her life, Shannon gave my family advice and comfort that could only come from a caring , personal, and professional doctor. As my doctor, I know that when I see Shannon , I will get to a solution for any health issue that I have. Many times after discussing an issue with he , he will say, "alright, let's get some stuff done". He will then give me a plan to solve the issue. When Shannon joined MDVIP he researched local doctors and gave his patients several options for a new doctor because he knew that not all of his patients would be able to afford MDVIP. He personally endorsed those he recommended and that means a lot. I really appreciate the opportunity that MDVIP has given Shannons practice because now, when I visit his office, I know he has more time to spend with me meeting my healthcare needs. Shannon is a fantastic doctor and a good friend that I know I can rely on.
