He’s the best
Dr John Valade is the most caring, compassionate dr ever. I can’t remember all the times he has come through for me, but I’ll try.
First of all, he always listens. He diagnosed one of my problems just asking what medicines had changed since he had seen me. Turns out my heart dr had put me on a blood pressure medicine to “protect my kidneys. The problem is that I have low blood pressure already, so he figured out why I had felt so terrible. My b/p was 60/40!, so he took me off the new med. Cured!
Another time I was on vacation and needed more medication. He called it in to a local pharmacy! In Florida.
When I got COVID in 2020 before there were home tests and vaccines, he referred me to a drive through testing site. When my test was positive he sent me to get the experimental infusion, which I think saved my life. He must read up on things all the time because he’s always aware of new findings.
I’ve been most grateful for him since my husband died suddenly , I couldn’t quit crying. So my friend booked an appointment for me to talk to him. While I was there my blood sugar was dropping so he called my endocrinologist (that I couldn’t get in to see for three months) and “encouraged her” to take me off a medicine. He also listened to me cry for an hour. I felt badly for the other patients waiting, but his kind nurse said “Oh, he slotted more time for you. He thought you would need it”!
There are many more reasons I love my dr but I think you can get the gist of what I’m saying.
Finally, a doctor is only as good as his/her support staff. All his staff are wonderful. I talk to a real person when I call, and I don’t ever wait in line. My questions are recorded, and I always get a call back the same day. MDVIP is the best investment in myself. Thank you!
