In 2015, after a very negative experience with our primary care physician's practice, we decided we needed to seek out a different way of being cared for. The MDVIP concept had been recommended to us so we sought to become a member.

At the time we joined, we were both in good health and expected to only need to be seen on a routine basis. However, within a year my husband turned up with some unexplained kidney function issues. Doctor Chaney was dogged in seeking out the cause. In the search of a diagnosis he was referred to excellent urological specialists and eventually underwent an extensive surgical procedure to correct what was causing the problem. Had it not been for Dr. Chaney's attention, over time he could have lost the use of one of this kidneys and perhaps not even known it was happening.
