I contacted Dr. Schmidlein on a Saturday afternoon by text. I had inadvertently run out of a medication I was taking for rosacea, and my primary pharmacy (as a military retiree) at the Naval Academy was closed for the weekend, so I asked Dr. Schmidlein to call in a script at my secondary pharmacy for enough medication to get me throught the weekend until the Naval Academy pharmacy opened again. He was quick to respond, as always, and I had the medication I needed in a couple of hours.
