We are talking about My Doc and Dr. James Cummins Couch. (Doc) an I began our association about 22 years ago. We both from the Maury County area and he become my (Doc) after the death of my original (Doc). He was pleasant, always smiling, honest, loved a great story, if the time alloted, could tell you one, but always finished giving his diagnosis and prescription. He became a designated MDVIP Physician. At first I needed a full explanation of how much more time that we, the patients would have with Dr. Couch, but how much better our health could be, and in the case of bad health, how it could be to have a friend to lean on when bad health comes and how helpful a persons Doc can really be.
