He is smart, kind, empathetic and is always there for me and my husband.

Last winter I was very sick with a sinus infection, coughing, bronchitis and I couldn't get well. It started in mid September. I was on a nebulizer at home with albutural, a chest vest to stimulate the lungs and on oxygen. I saw several specialists who didn't cure the problem. I was on heavy doses of prednisone which was horrible for my mood and I got more depressed as time went on with no prognosis.Through the months Dr. Metzger monitored my treatments. Finally in March he sent me for a cat scan of the lungs and compared it to another one I had had a couple of years prior. When he got the results he had me come to his office and told me I had bronchiectasis which is a lung disorder. He arranged an appointment for me with a top pulmonologist at the Cleveland Clinic. After that I finally started to get better and learned how to manage my disorder. All the specialists and all the treatments I had didn't begin to make me better but Dr. Metzger who always looks a step further and never lets anything go unanswered found the source of my problem and got me to see the proper specialist who finally helped me to get better. I was sick for 5 months but I am happy to say that all the machines and medications that I needed are now gone. This is only one instance where Dr. Metzger has gone the extra mile to help handle my health. He is smart, kind, empathetic and is always there for me and my husband. I am 75 years old and have never before been to a doctor that I respect more and depend on more than Dr. Charles Metzger Jr. I sing his praises because he deserves it.
