HE SAVED MY LIFE MORE THEN ONCE

The Year was 2006 I was 62 years old and fairly healthy after a battle with prostrate cancer in 2001. A elevated PSA ordered by Dr. Kulka was my first saving grace. He suggested it was time for a stress test followed by a cat scan which showed what was diagnosed as a small aneurysm and would be watched and placed on blood pressure medication to keep what was considered to be a normal Blood Pressure even lower. We were about to leave for our home in FL for 6 months. Dr Kulka decided to order just one more test to be sure things were as they seemed, a echo cardiogram (ultra sound of my Chest/ Heart and ascending Aorta). Well things were not as it seemed and it was larger and appeared that it maybe dissecting. I ended up having emergency open heart surgery to repair my Aorta and replace my aortic valve. Because I never smoked I came through the surgery very well. I credit Dr Kulka for the second time he saved my life. I have been through many close calls with death. 2013 I developed sepsis and a large abscess on my heart , causing multiple small strokes, kidney failure open heart surgery to replace my artificial valve, cardiac arrest 3 times and Dr. Kulka was always so supportive of me and my wife. 2019 I had a spontaneous Subdural bleed in FL which required 2 brain surgeries to correct. Even though he couldn't be with me during these times He was always giving me guidance through my wife. Now I'm battling Lung cancer but through his guidance so far I'm doing ok. Dr. Kulka is so caring and so smart and always goes the extra mile.
