He Saved My Life

I was referred to Dr. Kuljeet Rai many years ago before he became afilliated with MDVIP. I found that he was the first doctor that I could actually talk to and be heard.
As part of my first physical exam, Dr Rai ordered a CT scan to establish a benchmark. A small "shadow" was discovered on my left lung. It was really nothing to be concerned about at that time. Dr. Rai continued to order CT scans in the years that followed to document any changes. In February of 2020, a small spot appeared on my left lung. It was non-symptomatic. Subsequently a PET scan, needle biopsy, and brain MRI were performed. I HAD CANCER.
It was a squamous cell carcinoma stage I. In April 2020, a wedge resection was performed to remove the cancerous growth.
I know that many times symptoms of lung cancer don't appear until later stages. Since Dr. Rai had been so diligent in tracking any changes in my lung, my cancer was detected and treated early. I have been cancer-free ever since. For this, I am grateful.
