He saved my life

A couple of years ago on a Monday I was feeling weak and had no appetite that morning I called Doctor Striegel’s office to get an appointment. They made me an appointment for four o’clock that afternoon. That afternoon I met with Doctor Striegel we talked and he had me go for some blood work and said he would let me know how it came out.

About six that evening Doctor Striegel called me at home and told me to get to the emergency room that my kidneys were shutting down. When I got to the emergency room the doctor ordered all kinds of blood work and hooked me up to an IV. I spent that night in the emergency room because with the Covid there were no rooms available in the hospital. The next morning I was moved to a room. I was anemic and my kidneys were shutting down. I spent six days in the hospital and lost thirty pounds. The hospital doctor told me that if Doctor Striegel had not caught it when he did I may have died.

I feel that Doctor Striegel saved my life then. Most doctors would not have called me at six o’clock in the evening with the results of my blood work. Doctor Striegel has guided me back to health since then and my kidneys continue to get better every visit.
