He Really Listened

I had been experiencing shortness of breath to the point it was changing my speech patterns. Called my old doctor for an appointment stating I was having a hard time breathing and had a heaviness in my chest. The first available time to meet with a PA was six weeks out. So, I waited and my symptoms increased to the point I was only able to function at about 60% my usual capacity (I workout every day at Jazzercise). Appointment day comes and I arrive the 15 minutes early, then wait an additional hour to see the PA to have him spend less than 5 minutes with me and didn't even listen to my lungs.

So, I called Dr. Scarbrough's office, was in the next day, spent more than an hour with him, had many tests scheduled, (including a chest exray) and went home with appointments for the next day to see the pulmonologist. Found a medicine I was taking can cause a side effect cough. Stopped taking it and am much better in just a couple of months. Still have some follow-up appointments to re-check progress. Oh and did I mention, Dr. Scarbough's office made all the appointments for me and called in the new medicines and had them delivered to my home. Absolutely fantastic medical treatment by everyone in the office! THANK YOU!
