HE IS ONE OF A KIND

My wife had undergone open-heart surgery at Washington Hospital Center in November 2023. A week after she came home but
decidedly experiencing some problems with medicines. Dr. Theodore C. M. Li was always available through an email or call
to answer questions. There were multiple health issues we came to understand that were outside of the surgery but because of the
surgery. Several times when trying to get answers from our cardiologist, the surgeon or Dr. Li, Dr. Li was always the one who
responded promptly, listened and gave us a perspective on the issues. After two months and another hospital admission
we turned to him for answers. He saw us on a busy day, reviewed all the test results and operation notes, provided answers
and explanations to our questions. His care and patient concern as he listened and talked with us provided much-needed relief. We are now three months from surgery and she is doing well and almost back to normal. But we will always remember his care during the most difficult times.
We are indebted to him far more than we can ever repay.
