He felt like you cared about us, not just as patients, but as people.

Bob and I became patients of yours well over 15 years ago, right ?
We followed you into the MDVIP program because we were getting older and we valued the personal and attentive care you provided us. Bob, who never really liked going to a doctor, not only felt comfortable with you but enjoyed his visits with you. He felt like you cared about us, not just as patients, but as people. When he was diagnosed with Parkindons Disease it was comforting to both of us to have you as our primary physican. As we went on that journey together you provided us a place to ask the questions and to get the reassurance and encouragement that are not always forthcomong with the endless specialists we had to deal with.
And when Bob passed in Nov. 2014, I was comforted knowing you were around during all those last days in the hospital.
Since then you have not only provided the healthcare Ive needed on my regular visits but you also listened to me as I went thru those first months of deep shock and grief at his passing. And all the visits since when you listened to me whenever I had a need to express myself about losing Bob.
It meant a lot to me, Dr.Lavin.
