Dr. Martin Poliak has been my primary physician for almost 30 years, beginning shortly after the completion of his Internal Medicine residency in 1996. He puts forth the effort to extend his knowledge with respect to the medical challenges he confronts rather then simply sending a patient to another physician, and, when it does become necessary to involve another physician, he keeps himself in the loop, and stands ready to follow up on the referral. He is caring as well as being very knowledgeable. I have stayed with him as he has moved from St. Luke's Internal Medicine to Medical Clinic of Houston and then to MDVIP. Both my wife and I feel most fortunate to have Dr. Poliak as our primary care physician.
