He is always just a phone call away

Dr Scott Hammer joined MDVIP this spring. There was no doubt that I would join this new model. Since then, I have been seen by him once in a follow-up visit that occurred within 2 days of my hospital discharge and once for my Medicare physical. His office staff is very pleasant and helpful. It is a joy to walk in for my appointment and find Dr. Hammer behind the front desk basically waiting for me. No more hour waits in the waiting room. He is always just a phone call away, even when he was in the Baltics. This was the best decision I could have made for my health. And, it has had an impact on him as well. He is less stressed and is able to spend more time with each patient giving both patient and doctor a chance to really discuss medical issues and how life itself may be impacting those issues. No more 7 1/2 appointments for me!
