Having Dr. Russell Neibaur as our friend and family doctor has been a blessing in our lives. Many times, at night or on weekends, I have problems that just need a helpful tip from my doctor and he has reponded. It seems that at 90 years of age, health problems do not always come at the appointed time. We also appreciate the fact the we able to make an appointment within hours after a problem arises.

A few days ago, after a dental appointment, I had chest pains and tightness as well as acute shortness of breath. It was very real and caused my husband and I very deep concern. We were traveling in the vicinity of the doctor's office, so my husband thought it wise to go by the office and see if their was something we could do, rather than return home with that much pressure in my chest. We had to wait a little while, but a nurse soon was available to do an EKG. She had the doctor check it and came back with word that nothing has changed since my previous EKG's. I was a little weak from the experience, but we were able to go home knowing that I had not had a heart attack.

We also appreciate the fact that he cares enough to try everything to keep me from going to the hospital - when a home remedy will take care of the problem without the trauma of something going wrong at the emergency room..
