Harry Kaplan, M.D. - More than a Doctor

12 years ago i was floundering trying to find a solution for my medical care. I have had Lupus for 37 years and it was difficult to find someone who could see me as a whole person. My husbands partner recommended we consider MDVIP and Dr. Harry Kaplan. It was by far the best decision I have ever made in my life! Dr. Kaplan is now "Harry" he treats my husband and my daughter and none of us could imagine life without him. He is as much family to us as some who are. In those 12 years, I have almost died twice and every morning while I was in the hospital the first face I saw in the morning was his. By that time he had monitored my charts, spoken to the nurses and knew more about what was happening with my health then I did. When I was going home, he made sure everything I needed was in place and every day he checked in to see how I was till I was stable. The magic that is Harry is that he treats my health as the whole person that I am and intimately knows all the details and factors that would influence one effect over the other. The gentleness and caring that is Harry is what make him the incredible doctor and human being that he is! He is one of a kind!
